Big day today! The third and final audiobook in the Lancaster’s Luck series, The God’s Eye, is released, meaning the entire series is now available in audio.

When I announced the release date, I said this: “Gary Furlong is the outstanding narrator bringing you Rafe Lancaster, Ned Winter, and a host of others off on their last, greatest adventure. Gary’s a voice actor, and of course, he’s a damn good one – the best! – so I shouldn’t be surprised at how well he portrays a Victorian English gentleman adventurer. He is Rafe Lancaster now; for me, at any rate. Because whenever I reread the books, I’m going to hear Gary’s voice in my head being sardonic, kind, cynical, funny, and honourable all at once as he breathes real life into Rafe. Of all my book creations, I’m proudest of Rafe. I’m awed at how well Gary gets him.”

Now I’m having the chance to listen to the entire thing, all I can say is DITTO, DITTO, DITTO, with knobs on. Gary is wonderful as Rafe. He will, for me, always be Rafe. I can’t thank him enough for bringing Rafe to such glorious, totally Lancastrian life!

About the Book
