Perhaps the most delightful character in The Jackal’s House, and certainly the most charming and loving, is Molly. She’s the scruffy, curly-coated brown dog belonging to Master Harry Winter, Ned Winter’s elder son.

Sadly, we lost our darling Molly in July 2022. She was indeed adorable, charming and loving, and so deserved to be the star of the book. She’s missed, most dreadfully.
