I’m not going to write anything much today, certainly not some long-winded rhapsody to spring, or waffle on about renewal and rebirth and all that carp. All I’m going to do is share the photographs D and I took in the park yesterday, when it was washed clean by some overnight rain.
This is why I love spring.
Tree paeonies are just glorious, aren’t they? Each one of these was the size of a dinnerplate – big, blousy, opulent – and glittering with drops of rain.
And for some more restrained spring flowers:
Perfect time of year. Hope you’re enjoying spring as much as I am.
Lovely photos! 🙂

I love pictures of flowers! I take lots of them myself. 🙂 It’s funny because I almost never plant any–I just take pictures of them! I need to post something like this myself.
